News digest – an unhealthy ‘cake culture’, sugary breakfasts, sound waves, faulty ‘switches’ and… ketchup?

This week, Cancer Research UK's News Digest gives us updates on obesity, better clinical trials, using sound to peer inside live cells, anti-smoking strategy, stopping the spread of melanoma, and finally….. ketchup? This week's number is 90,000, which is the cost in pounds per patient for the breast cancer drug kadcyla.
